SPH hydraulics – finished
SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) is a Lagrangian based CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modelling system, in which the fluid is modelled by an ensemble of particles following the flow. The particles represent macroscopic fluid elements in local thermodynamic equilibrium, the physical properties of which may vary in the course of their motion. In the framework of this project we carry out development and testing of numerical SPH models of hydraulic phenomena, installations and applications.
